Hi! I’m a new subscriber and excited to get back into yoga with Bronwyn and all of you! Unfortunately, I tweaked my back and neck while doing a “gentle yoga” session. I have a history of back and neck pain and I see a chiropractor every 3 weeks for maintenance. Do any of you have similar issues? Can you offer any advice for me? I do not want to give up! TYIA

Thank you for reaching out. So great to hear from you and WELCOME to my yoga classes! I'm sorry to learn of your injury. So often, I have students with very similar symptoms... neck and back problems. What I can lend to you... please pace yourself and take your time. So often, we're over achievers (plus, we're excited) and we want and are trying our best. Sometimes this can lead to over excursion. I always advise..practice to how your body is feeling... particularly on that day. Each time we approach our mats it's a different experience. Please let me know if I can be of an more help. I have been using your lower back classes for years. They have kept me going. lately I have been holding a lot of stress in my neck and upper back. I did check out your stress class. As I am already doing the lower back series can you recommend some positions I could add for the neck and upper back. Thanks.
